Pastor Josh Anderson
Josh Anderson began serving as Colleyville's pastor in August of 2014, and he is the second senior pastor in the church’s forty year history.
Josh grew up in Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Covenant Theological Seminary, and has completed part of a graduate degree in creative writing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Before moving to Texas with his family, Josh served as a pastor in St. Louis for six years. His interests include St. Louis Cardinals baseball, University of Virginia basketball and he is always reading some kind of novel (right now it's Hilary Mantel's "Wolf Hall.") Josh's favorite theological authors include Eugene Peterson, C.S. Lewis, Lesslie Newbigin and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. His favorite novelists include Marilynne Robinson, Walter Wangerin, Patrick O'Brian, Wallace Stegner and Susan Howatch. As a pastor, Josh longs for his congregation to know more fully their belovedness as sons and daughters of God and to be nourished by the Holy Spirit in word, sacrament and prayer as they follow Jesus together.
Josh has been married to Ami for twelve years, and together they are raising four children, ages 10, 8, 5 and 0.
Donna came to CPC in October, 2014. She & Mike have been married for 20 years and together they are raising 2 children. She grew up in the DFW Metroplex area and has lived here for much of her life. She attended Texas A&M where she earned a BBA in Management and has worked in several different industries including banking and financial planning. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, photography and watching college football (mostly the Aggies).
Donna and her family joined CPC in August of 2015. They are thrilled to now call Colleyville Presbyterian home and feel blessed to have such a wonderful church family.
A native of Fort Worth, pianist Linda Pritchett has become one of the area’s most respected pianist.
Linda is an alumna of Texas Wesleyan University, where she flourished under the tutelage of noted composer/arranger George Anson. In addition to being the staff musician at Colleyville Presbyterian Church, Linda is also a private teacher and holds memberships in the American College of Musicians, Music Teachers' National Association, Mid-Cities Music Teachers' Association, and Fort Worth Piano Teachers' Forum. She is a frequent solo performer as well as accompanist for area musical events and contests. Linda and her husband have been married fifty four years, have three grown children and reside in Hurst.
Pastor Emeritus Dale Smith
Dale Smith has a rich heritage and legacy to the PCA and Colleyville Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Anne, along with their daughter, Catherine, migrated from St. Louis to accept a calling to be the first permanent pastor of Irving Presbyterian Church in 1976. The church at the time had been renting auditorium space until a new building could be commissioned. In 1979, that building would make its home off of Cheek Sparger Rd. in a community known as Colleyville. It was there that the church would be renamed Colleyville Presbyterian Church.
Dale pastored the church from 1976 until his retirement on March 31, 2014 after 38 years of faithful service.
